On Monday at a conference for developers, Apple introduced the new operating system iOS 11. Starting today, users can learn a new software platform.

According to Apple, the new version of the mobile OS "sets a new standard for the most advanced mobile platform in the world". Among the key innovations of iOS 11 are the new Control Point with support for 3D Touch, an improved dock and multitasking on the iPad, the redesign of the App Store, new features of Live Photos, the updated Camera. Among other innovations in iOS 11 appeared a dark interface design mode.

Apple does not indicate Dark Mode among the major improvements to the OS, while the function itself is hidden far in the settings. To enable dark mode of the interface in iOS 11, you need to go to the Basic -> Universal access -> Display adaptation -> Color inversion and activate the "Smart inversion" switch.

The Smart Invert function performs a reversion of the display colors except for using the styles of dark colors of images, videos and some programs. This mode differs from the classical color inversion in iOS 10, because the application icons and pictures remain the same colors. Thanks to this user, a full "dark mode" became available: iOS 11 interface becomes black and the text is light.

Dark interface mode in iOS 11 works not only in standard, but also in third-party applications. In some cases, due to a lack of an update, it is displayed with errors. For example, the OS inverts the video colors in the YouTube app.

Right now officially to install iOS 11 can only developers. In practice, everyone can test the OS.
