Appeared last week by mistake, the assembly of Windows 10 under the number 16212 continues to be the source of news. We already reported that it found traces of the failure of the function "History of files" and hints of new versions of the system. Now there was information about the next find. It was discovered by her Twitter-known user under the name Walking Cat. This is a component called CSHELL TextInput based on Swiftkey technology.

CSHELL (Composable Shell) is an adaptive shell that allows you to scale the Windows 10 interface for devices of different form factors with different screen sizes. Swiftkey is known for its software keyboards, last year the company was bought by Microsoft.

According to unconfirmed yet officially information for Windows 10 is developing a new keyboard, and the authors are the developers of the popular technology Word Flow, based on which was created a keyboard for Windows Phone. Also here there are technologies from Swiftkey.

Since the CSHELL component is found in the assembly of Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, a new keyboard can be expected to be seen already in the upcoming pre-builds in the Windows Insider testing program. Microsoft has not yet given any comments on this issue.
