Captain Real Sergio Ramos is confident that his team has rightfully won the Twelfth Champions League in its history.

In the Champions League final, Real beat Juventus 4-1 thanks to goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Carlos Casemiro and Marco Ascenco.

"I'm incredibly proud of this team," Ramos said..

"We had a meeting with history, and we achieved what no one could achieve before. We won 2 Champions League successive.

"Real Madrid made a few mistakes, but won deservedly".

"This victory - for those who were with me - for the wife, children, parents and all the fans of Real Madrid".

Unlike his two previous finals, Ramos this time did not score, but earned a removal for Juan Quadrado.
