Thus, from now on, Ukrainians will officially be able to travel to Turkey by ID-cards. This was reported on his Twitter page by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey Andrei Sibiga.

Recall that in March 2017, Ukraine and Turkey signed an agreement on the travel of citizens by ID-cards.

As reported by URA-Inform, Turkey on May 20 officially published a decision to amend the procedure for mutual trips and the recognition of the internal Ukrainian passport, ID-card as a travel document for travel of Ukrainian citizens to Turkey, thus ratifying the agreement of March 14, 2017.

The agreement allows ID-card holders to enter, leave and stay for 90 days in Turkey without passports.
