NVIDIA introduced Max-Q technology for ultra-slim gaming laptops

NVIDIA Company has introduced Max-Q technology, which will allow producing more productive but at the same time more slim gaming laptops. Information about Max-Q appeared earlier, but now NVIDIA announced the technology officially. For the end user, this means the appearance of laptops with MacBook Air dimensions, but capable of playing games in 4K resolution.

In NVIDIA argue that the new design concept Max-Q will increase the performance of laptops by three times and triple their thickness - up to 18 mm. Such laptops, equipped with a mobile version of the GeForce GTX 1080, will appear in all major vendors on sale from June 27.

The head of NVIDIA showed one of the samples of such laptops - from ASUS. According to him, a laptop computer is 60% faster than the PlayStation 4 Pro console.

Also, NVIDIA announced WhisperMode technology, which reduces the noise of the computer while maintaining a relatively high performance. It will be available in GeForce Experience.
