The list of preparations of the governmental program "Available medicines" should be expanded immediately, as it provides the needs of not all patients who are participants of the program. This was stated by the co-chairman of "Our Territory" Alexander Mazurchak.
According to him, the governmental program "Available medicines" does not cover the whole spectrum of medicines that the participants of the program need.
"Numerous complaints from citizens continue to be received on the hotline of Nashi Krai. Most people complain about the lack of drugs in the program, which they used to take for a long time and received positive results from treatment. The range of medicines offered by the Ministry of Health is not suitable for all patients who fall under the program. The list of medicines should be expanded immediately, "said Alexander Mazurchak.
The co-chairman of the party stressed that the government made a bet on inexpensive drugs.
"An analysis of the list of preparations of the" Available medicines "program shows that the government made a bet on inexpensive drugs. A total of 157 products are offered in the value of 6.5 to 600 UAH. 62% of medicines cost from 6.5 to 50 UAH. Do not be an experienced pharmacist to understand that effective drugs are more expensive, "- said Alexander Mazurchak.
In his opinion, the ineffectiveness of the government's program "Available drugs" and drugs in particular, related to the lack of a register of patients.
"Before launching such large-scale programs and approving the list of vital medicines, the authorities must form a register of patients and, accordingly, determine their needs for treatment. In the Ministry of Health there is no such register. The lack of a patient register is one of the reasons why the Ministry of Health has no reason to include in the list more than 600 drugs that fall under state regulation of prices and which can be used in the "Available medicines" program, "added Alexander Mazurchak.
The party "Our Krai" requires the Ministry of Health to immediately revise the list of medicines of the program and expand the range of medicines in accordance with the needs of its participants.
Recall, "Our Territory, along with indifferent citizens, exercises control over the entire territory of Ukraine over the implementation of the government's program" Available Medications ", which was launched on April 1, 2017.
If the patient is in one of three categories (type II diabetes, bronchial asthma or cardiovascular diseases) and the doctor refuses to give him a prescription or he can not get the medication in the pharmacy participating in the "Available medicines" program, you should contact the "Hotline" "Our Nation" on the phone 0800 21800 4. Based on the complaints received, the party will appeal to the government and officials with a request to eliminate the shortcomings in the implementation of the "Available medicines" program: as well as control response to complaints.
