Several years ago, under the import substitution program, cheese production was set up here. The plant annually produces 590 tons of cheese. Now the enterprise has mastered the production of dry milk, which is widely used in the food industry, but until recently the Sverdlovsk region came from abroad.

On reached milkmen do not plan to stop. The plant's GM Sergey Suetin presented Kuyvashev with a project for a new dry milk production plant with a capacity of 100 tons of processed raw materials a day. Realization of the project will allow the enterprise to adjust the production of a new product - dry whey, as well as to increase the production of dry skim milk. The project is estimated at 750 million rubles.

"To date, the design and estimate documentation has been prepared, work is underway to prepare the construction site, the beginning of construction works is scheduled for September 2017. Completion of work is planned in December 2018. Output at the designed capacity for production - 2020. Social effect - 20 jobs, "- said the milkman.

The enterprise counts on the assistance of regional authorities in obtaining on favorable terms loan funds for the construction of the shop.

The head of the region supported the initiative to create a new import-substituting production, noting that the financing of the agro-industrial complex in the Sverdlovsk region will be increased. This year, only 3 billion rubles will be allocated to agriculture from the regional budget alone. And together with federal support - about 5 billion.

The head of Baikalovo, Alexei Zhukov, said that agriculture in the region demonstrates good performance. In 2017, the volume of agricultural products produced by our own production was 250 million rubles, which is 21% more than in 2016. 373 tons of meat were produced, which is 10% more than last year, 7,363 tons of milk - 108.3% by 2016. The number of cattle increased by 5.5%.

In total, since the beginning of 2017, four residential buildings with a total area of ??517 sq. Meters have been put into operation in Baikalovsky District. The head of the region also inspected the new stadium in the village of Baikalovo. The sports complex is constructed at the expense of the regional budget under the program of development of sports infrastructure. In the kindergarten "Teremok" for 135 places, which visited Kuyvashev, today not only kids from three years old, but also children from one and a half years.
