This triumph was for the Gunners already 13th in the FA Cup. By this indicator, the Londoners broke out ahead, leaving behind Manchester United with 12 cups.

The sole leader in the number of conquests of this trophy was Arsenal's coach Arsene Wenger. Now the Frenchman has 7 wins, one more than George Ramsey.
