What did they say to their players during the break of the match? - I do not think that in the first half we played inactive. We started the match well, in the first 15-20 minutes controlled the ball, created the moments, but football, especially against equal teams, implies psychological certainty. Several times the ball was lost, and everything turned out so well - "Shakhtar" managed to use this and quickly equalized the score. During the break the guys themselves talked to each other, analyzed the mistakes and reached the second half with a completely different attitude. - Now your address sounds a lot of criticism. How do you think, is it justified? - It's normal for a coach to work: when the team wins, everyone keeps silent. I am ready for criticism, I accept it and, of course, I agree that this season we did unsatisfactorily. There are enough reasons, we will discuss them with the president of the club. The coach must be ready for all of this. Again, I'm ready to criticize. But not to the critics who are just waiting for the moment to pounce on the coach, the president of the club. This is no longer a criticism. We disassemble every game and move on. - You did not once go to the internship in European clubs. How realistic is it to embody something from your experience in Ukraine? - We try to do this. As soon as I headed the team, I immediately tried to invite coaches with my psychology, with my vision of the game in all the structure of the club, in our children's and youth school. And we achieved some results. "Dynamo" U-21, "Dynamo" U-19 win championships. Such results are extremely important for any team. Now in our football there are almost no foreign players, and we must think how to develop their youth. I hope, will continue to appear those who, passing all the stages of preparation in junior teams, show themselves at the highest level.
