Roma forward Edin Dzeko insists that his compatriot Senad Lulich is not a racist, despite insulting Antonio Rudiger.
In December, Lulich allowed himself careless statements about Rudiger, saying that the player of the German national team "was selling socks and belts in Stuttgart".
"I know Lulich better than anyone else and do not consider him to be a racist," said Jaco.
"Why did he say that? To be honest, I never asked him about it. Perhaps he was angry after the defeat, but of course it was wrong to say this ".
"I know him well and I know that he is not a racist, but you need to remain calm even after the defeats. There are words that you should not say under any circumstances ".
For this statement Lulich was disqualified for 20 days and fined 10 thousand euros.
