The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) conducts searches in the District Administrative Court of Kyiv (OASK) on the case of illegal enrichment of its chairman Pavel Vovka,.
It is noted that searches are conducted at the place of his residence and at the premises of the court.
"The searches are conducted within the framework of an investigation into criminal proceedings registered on December 9, 2016 on the basis of an analysis of the electronic declaration on the possible illegal enrichment of the OASC chairman (h. 2 items. 368-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), "reads the message.
The NABU added that any statements about a possible connection between the investigative actions of the bureau and the administrative proceedings of the court regarding the activities of the agency, in particular the case of appeal against the appointment of the first deputy director of the NABU Guizo Ugawa, are "frankly speculative and have no confirmation".
