City thanked the Red Devils for winning the victory for Manchester in such a difficult time for the city.

This cup was a great outlet for the whole city, in the week of a horrendous terrorist attack that killed 22 people.

After the victory of the Red Devils, a touching greeting was posted on the official page of the Citizens on Twitter.

The message reads: "A City United!", Which can be translated as "City is One!". In this case, the word "City" is colored blue, and "United" is red, embodying the corresponding commands.

Thus, the townspeople declared their unity with the Red Devils at such a difficult time, noting the significance of their victory for the whole of Manchester.
