500 children of Donbass will be able to improve their health in summer camps on the project of the Humanitarian Staff of Rinat Akhmetov "Peaceful Summer for the Children of Donbass-2017". This was during a briefing in the Ukrainian News Agency Rimma Fil, the coordinator of Rinat Akhmetov's Staff.
For the third consecutive year, the Headquarters has been implementing the project "Peaceful Summer for the Children of Donbass". This year, from July 9 to August 21, 2017, 500 children of Donbas will get well and will undergo psychological rehabilitation in three summer camps. Two of them are located on the shore of the Azov and Black Seas, another one - in the Svyatogorsk forest.
The humanitarian headquarters invites to improve the health of children aged 8-14 years living on territory beyond Ukraine's control and in the "gray zone", as well as migrants. Priority will be given to children from large or incomplete families.
Travel to places of rest parents provide independently. The stay of children in health camps is entirely at the expense of the Humanitarian Staff.
Children will receive 3 summer camps:.
"Teams of psychologists trained by Rinat Akhmetov's Staff at the rate of" Trauma of war "will work in the camps,. Psychologists will conduct group sessions aimed at stabilizing and improving the psychoemotional state of children, reducing anxiety, developing communication and empathy skills. In the camps for children there is an entertainment program, they can find new friends. Emotional unloading is a very important factor for children who live in constant stress. And even if they moved to peaceful areas, they still carry within themselves the horror of war. To help children overcome this problem, get rid of fears of constant shelling, release this load and move forward is our task, "said Rimma Fil.
