June 10 in the Small Hall of the Palace "Ukraine" Inter TV and the Theater Workshop of Nikolai Rushkovsky will present a new joint project - the premiere of the poetic performance "In my street.
The production is dedicated to the poets of the sixties - a bright, insanely talented and piercingly tragic generation. They grew up and lived during the years of repression, they managed to sound in the era of Khrushchev's thaw, and then - experienced persecution, persecution, bans ... But even then, being "under the hood", they managed to be so free and so true that their works are not just Echoes of that era, they are about us today.
On stage, the play will combine two times, two generations. Interviewers Zhanna Tikhonova and Andrei Domansky will flip through the most interesting, forgotten, and sometimes disputed pages of biographies of poets, share thoughts, argue, reflect.
And on the same stage poems of the sixties will be read by young talented actors of the Theater Workshop of People's Artist of Ukraine Nikolay Rushkovsky: Yevgeny Kovyrzanov, Konstantin Temlyak, Alexander Sugak, Roman Shcherbak, Anastasia Andrienko. The performance will also feature singer Mila Nitic and Natalia Gordienko.
"If there was a time machine, I know where I would go - there, during the thaw, in the sixties," says Zhanna Tikhonova, the host of Inter TV channel.. - At a time when Gagarin his flight inspired everyone to reach the cosmic heights in their work. When morality was the yardstick. The power and perspective of a happy future was felt. I love these songs, I know these films ... I just bathe in it all, this is my ".
Sixties - a time of great discoveries and cosmic breakthroughs. Great expectations and expectations. Scientists and engineers. The dandies and the forefathers. This time, the voice of which fell to be poets. The time that sounded like the voices of Bella Akhmadulina, Yevgeny Yevtushenko, Rozhdestv Rozhdestvensky, Andrei Voznesensky, Bulat Okudzhava, Vladimir Vysotsky, Alexander Galich, Gennady Shpalikov ... "At that time, Beatles and the Rolling Stones, who collected hundred thousand stadiums, appeared abroad," said TV host Andrey Domansky. - In the Soviet Union this was not, such music was banned. And the function of pop-idols was borne by the poets of the sixties. They, like mediums, missed out of space through themselves a crazy drive and gave it to the audience. At the performances, they created a parallel reality, brighter and more voluminous than the one in which we lived. Celestials, people not of this world, made indeed from some other matter ... "The director of the production was the magnificent Ukrainian actress of theater and cinema, the teacher of the Karpenko-Kary University and the director Sofya Pisman. Sophia Nikolaevna defines her directorial task briefly: "that everything should be from the heart".
"It was some kind of very bright era, kind," Sophia Pisman. - Maybe it was short and maybe it was euphoric after the terrible military and post-war years. But can you imagine today that huge halls of people, like then, would gather to listen to poetry? What was the need for this culture, what was the need for this spirituality! This fascinates me and amazes me. It seems to me that this is not enough today, especially for young people. And we very much hope that the contact with their poetry in our performance of the audience will inspire and inspire ".
Now there are rehearsals, and already on June 10 at 18:00 in the Palace "Ukraine" the audience will see the premiere of the performance-dedication to the great poets who have had a difficult fate to be the conscience and voice of their era.
