Russian publicist Alexander Nevzorov predicts that the Moscow Patriarchate will be gradually ousted from Ukraine, and this will not cause any protests in people.

In an interview with Ekho Moskvy, the journalist evaluated the statements of the UOC-MP regarding the attack on them by the authorities.

"No one will intercede. Pay attention, and there will be no dramas, there will be no tragedies - nothing will happen. First, there is a fine example of Russia where it was easy and without any problems to smash a large international religious organization with one legislative click, these Witnesses (the Church of Jehovah's Witnesses was banned in the Russian Federation - Ed.. And, in general, as you can see, the sky did not crack, nothing happened, and no Molotov cocktails flew. In general, nothing happened, "- said the Russian journalist.

"The same thing will happen in Ukraine, because the Moscow church, which was really very strong, very powerful, very numerous in Ukraine, is likely to be either simply banned or created at last by unbearable conditions. But, believe me, nothing will change from this, "- says Nevzorov.

The journalist explained his statements on the example of the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean": "For you it plays a fundamental role, how will the cinema be called where you will watch the" Pirates of the Caribbean "? Yes it does not play any role. It can be any network of cinemas, where you can easily view the brilliant creation of ".

"Similarly, believers. Well, if they are served this their liturgy, if they are given the opportunity to eat their god's meat with songs, the rhythm of chiselling their forehead to the floor is the same everywhere, the same candles, the same old women. The Ukrainian Orthodox Church does not differ in anything from the so-called Russian Orthodox Church, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, "he stressed..

Nevzorov stressed that simply "a sign will change, and just the money that has been shaken from Ukraine by Russia through believers, they will no longer swing".

"After all, when Gundyaev now howled, turning to the international community, demanding to stop lawlessness in Ukraine, because in the translation it sounds only: my denunciations, my denunciations, how is my denyuzhka something? And no other sense. And believers - they will receive their religious services, their mystical service, at least from Ukrainian priests, even from Moscow priests - what's the difference? "He noted.

The Russian publicist also recalled that Ukraine for the Moscow Patriarchate was one of the main sources of income.

As reported by the "Observer", earlier in the Verkhovna Rada was introduced the bill number 4511 "About the special status of the reorganization bodies, the kerivnyi centers of which are significant in the state, yaka is recognized by the Verkhovnaya Rado of Ukraine as an agronomist power". The document, designed to limit the influence of the Moscow Patriarchate in Ukraine, caused many protests in the UOC-MP.
