The report says that according to the Director of the Department of Noncommunicable Chronic Diseases and the strengthening of a healthy lifestyle of the WHO European Bureau, in 2016 one Lithuanian resident consumed an average of 16 liters of alcohol.

It is reported that the latest calculations allowed to derive this statistics. Which made Lithuania the most drinking country in the world.

It is also estimated that in the second place is Belarus, where each resident has about 15 liters of alcohol per year.
