NATO and the European Union proposed "non-standard approaches to actively counteract" Russian aggression in Ukraine.

The chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Victor Muzhenko wrote this on his page in Facebook.

According to him, the proposals were voiced at the meeting of the Military Committees of the European Union and NATO countries at the level of the chiefs of general staffs in Brussels.

Muzhenko described the current meeting of the Chiefs of Staff as "more effective and pragmatic".

"I shared my vision of the development of global threats and the military and political situation, and my colleagues suggested non-standard approaches to actively counteracting Russian aggression in Ukraine," he said..

According to the head of the General Staff, his colleagues also put forward new proposals and ideas on the preparation and development of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"We will implement jointly," - he summed up.

Recall, earlier Muzhenko said that the occupation of the Crimea and the Donbass has become a strategic mistake of Russia.
