In Kiev, a casting of brides was held for Irakli Makatsari, or rather for the main character of the film "The Groom from Georgia", whose role was given to Makatsarii.

According to the script, his hero David is forced to urgently find a bride, and in real life Irakli has been looking for an actress for the main role for several months.

Also, Irakli Makatsaria and his company MAQ ENTERTAINMENT are the producer of the film. Despite the huge employment in his homeland, where he performs in "Dancing with the Stars" and conducts the program on the main television channel, Irakli specially flew to the casting and was amazed at what he saw.

"The main heroine is a true Ukrainian, who embodies the independent spirit and beauty of this country. We realized that we did not find it in the casting agencies and decided to give the chance to ordinary girls to try their hand at. To make it easier for them to imbue with the proposed circumstances, we created a real Georgian feast, with a toastmaster, singers and dances, and the girls were asked to tell a toast. Once again I want to thank them, I am incredibly happy and grateful to each of the beauties who visited our unusual screen tests. Indeed, the casting came to girls from different cities and even flew from Poland, and one of the participants came to her birthday. Given that even after several hours of waiting, not everyone had time to pass the casting, as well as a huge number of applications, it is likely that Irakli and his team will go with casting to other cities of Ukraine.

"Even now, after the end of the casting, girls from all over the country continue to call, and we are thinking of coming to other cities, so that every Ukrainian woman has the opportunity to get into our project.
