"Today I feel only less pain than on the day when he was gone, when he was seen off almost the whole way by Kiev and many people who came from other cities and countries. It's not for nothing that Lobanovsky's grave is carved with the phrase: "We live while we are remembered". You see that we remember both about him and those glorious children who forged the great victories of Dynamo in the last years of his life ".

"He was not only a famous coach, a psychologist trainer, but also a man who for many decades could unite many stars with his talent and effort, making big stars of them and creating a star team. Almost for three decades his team shone ".

"He was a great intellectual, a great admirer of art and culture, a great joker, a man who could unite the collective with a common idea - coaches, players, doctors, managers. I am sure that he is an example not only for the fans, those people who knew him worked with him, but also for the coaches who are making their first steps in this field today, and who have to do everything to make Dynamo Kyiv shine on Football horizon and in the future, "- said Surkis.

"Yesterday I saw an interview with a press attache of Moscow Spartak, which says that when he died, Beskov said that Lobanovsky's ideas won.
