The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine awarded a prize to them. Lesya Ukrainka for literary and artistic works for children and youth for 2016, writer, Honored Artist of Ukraine Anne Chubach.

The corresponding decision was made at a government meeting today.

Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman read out this decision among the adopted by the government at the meeting without discussion.

Anna Kubach's books "Draw, read, write" and "Ukrainians are coming!" Won the nomination "Literary works for children and youth"..

In the nomination "Art design of books for children and youth" the winner was the graphic artist Arsen Djanikyan for the artistic design of a series of books about Mary Poppins.

In the nomination "Cinema for Children and Young People", the award winner was the feature film "Trumpeter".

The amount of the award is 10 thousand. UAH in each of the nominations.
