The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine ascertains an increase in the incidence of criminal acts and suicides among Russian militaries in the Donbass during holidays.

"During the May holidays in 1 AK (Donetsk) numerous cases of unauthorized abandonment of military posts with military personnel and committing offenses in a state of alcoholic intoxication. In 2 AK (Lugansk), servicemen committed two suicides, "the GUR reported on the Facebook page.

In addition, on May 9, servicemen of 9 separate assault motorized infantry regiment of the Marine Corps (Novoazovsk) 1 AK and 4 separate motorized rifle brigade (Alchevsk) 2 AK were taken under arrest for shooting at civilian objects in a state of alcoholic intoxication.

Intelligence reports that to prevent further deterioration of the moral and psychological state of personnel on May 10, the Russian occupation command organized an emergency gathering of psychological officers for training in the prevention of suicide and other offenses.
