President of Kosovo dissolved parliament

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, on Wednesday, May 10, signed a decree to dissolve the parliament, after the deputies expressed a vote of no confidence in the government, the "European Pravda".

The decree says that it takes effect on the day of its signing.

Early elections to the Assembly of Kosovo must be held no earlier than 30 and no later than 45 days after the dissolution of Parliament.

The next parliamentary elections were to take place in a year.
