Two teenagers came under investigation after they threw eggs at the church in the Sosnogorsky district of Komi. This is reported on the website of the republican Ministry of Internal Affairs. "It is established that teenagers - a girl of 16 years and her 14-year-old friend - were walking in the evening on the street. There was nothing to do for schoolchildren, and they began throwing eggs at the local temple. As a result, they broke a part of the window panes, "- said in a press release. The guard detained the teenagers and handed them over to police officers. The investigation is conducted under the article on vandalism committed by a group of persons (part 2 of Article 214 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Sanction for a crime provides for up to three years in prison. Earlier in March, two unidentified people broke and tried to set fire to a cross near the church of St. John the Baptist in Volgograd. To detain vandals in hot pursuit failed.
