The US attempt to implement a bill to control the movement of foreign ships around the world, including in Russian ports, would mean a declaration of war. This was stated by the chairman of the Committee on International Affairs of the Federation Council of Russia Konstantin Kosachev on Friday, May 5.

Washington's intention to control Russian ports in the Far East can be implemented only under one scenario - force, the senator is convinced. In his opinion, this is quite in the spirit of the current composition of the American Congress, which, like hot pies, issues one by one documents that do not comply with the norms of international law.

On the eve of the US Congress approved a bill on new sanctions against the DPRK. It follows that the Americans should not only adhere to the restrictions imposed by the UN Security Council on Pyongyang, but also ensure their implementation by other members of the international community. In particular, the US administration is invited to take under special control the Russian ports of Vladivostok, Nakhodka and Vanino, so that there is no commercial communication with North Korea from there.

"No country in the world and no international organization, above all the United Nations, has authorized the US to monitor the implementation of any resolutions of the UN Security Council," commented Kosachev to RIA Novosti on the decision of US lawmakers. "This bill, I hope, will never be implemented, since its implementation provides for a force scenario with forced inspection by US warships of all ships. This kind of power scenario does not fit into the head, because it means the declaration of war, "- said the senator.

Note that from the Congress this bill went to the Senate for approval, and then it will be sent for signature to the president.

At present, the UN Security Council resolutions prohibit the supply of weapons, aviation, missile, nuclear and other technologies to the DPRK. The US insists that it is necessary to limit other trade items, in particular the purchase of PRC coal. In parallel, Washington is stepping up military pressure on the DPRK, pulling a squadron of ships to the peninsula, and also conducting large-scale joint maneuvers with South Korea.

At the same time, the expert of the Association of Military Political Scientists, Alexander Perendzhiev, believes that the strengthening of Washington's military and economic pressure on Pyongyang is directly related to the upcoming May 9 presidential elections in South Korea. The US wants to bring more power to Pyongyang to come to power in Seoul. Accordingly, after the election, the intensity of passions around the Korean peninsula will begin to weaken,. Ru "expert.
