Last week Kiev district court of Odessa deprived of the right to drive vehicles 18 drivers.

According to the correspondent of the Ukrainian Information Service, with reference to the press service of the court, all drivers lost their licenses for driving under the influence of alcohol.

The department clarified that 15 people were deprived of the right to drive vehicles for a period of 1 year, and another three - for management for a period of 3 years. If the court orders enter into force, the drivers will replenish the state budget for a total of more than 200 thousand. UAH.

The press service of the Kiev district court noted that in practice, the increase in fines for driving in a state of intoxication does not prevent people from repeatedly committing the specified offense and urge citizens to be cautious on the roads.
