The Security Service of Ukraine detained five owners and administrators of anti-Ukrainian communities in social networks.

"On the orders of their curators from the Russian special services, residents of the Kyiv, Mykolayiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Lviv regions distributed on the eve of the May holidays calls for the radicalization of public actions on the occasion of 1,2,8 and 9 May, and also tried to use social networks to initiate riots," - The press service of the SBU says.

In all cases, criminal proceedings were instituted under art.. 109, 110 and 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

In October 2016, the Security Service of Ukraine detained a citizen in Sumy, who in a social network of Russian origin called for the creation of a. "Sumy People's Republic".
