Pope Francis Francis urged representatives of all religions to unite in the fight against radicals who commit terrorist acts "in the name of God". This statement was made during a visit to the pontiff by one of the world's leading Islamic educational institutions - the University of Al-Azhar in Cairo.

The Pope took part in the International Conference on Peace held in the Egyptian capital, where he also warned of the dangers of populism for international stability, writes DW.
