The proportion of residents of the Sverdlovsk region, who have complied with the standards of the All-Russia Physical Culture and Sports Complex "Ready for Work and Defense" (TRP), currently stands at 31%. This is reported by the Department of Informpolitik Governor with a reference to the Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the Sverdlovsk region Leonid Rapoport.

The official said that at the moment in the Sverdlovsk region there are 79 organizations that have the authority of the testing center, 248 testing sites are identified that meet the requirements for compliance with the standards of the TRP. In 2016, in the territory of the Sverdlovsk region, 456 physical and sporting events were held to introduce a complex of GTOs of various levels, in which more than 400 thousand participants of all categories.

"Since the current year, the Sverdlovsk Region, among the 12 regions of the Russian Federation, is an experimental site for testing the standards of the TRP complex among people with disabilities. In the rating of the implementation of the TRP complex in the regions prepared by the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation in 2015, the Sverdlovsk region became the only region that received the maximum number of points - ten out of ten.
