In Kharkov, unidentified people took down commemorative plaques installed in honor of the revolutionaries Stepan Khalturin and Matvei Muranov, according to the organization Sokol on Facebook page.

"On April 27, 2017, by unknown patriots, a decommunizational raid was conducted, during which the boards of Khalturinu and Muranov were dismantled," the report says..

The destroyed tablets were erected in honor of the Bolshevik Matvey Muranov, whose name in Kharkov was the street (now Ozeryanskaya) and the People's Volunteer Stepan Khalturin, the organizer and executor of the attempt on the Russian Tsar Alexander II.
