All officials of the Sverdlovsk region will report to the President on work with citizens' appeals. This was during a meeting of the government today, said the head of the administration of the Governor of the Sverdlovsk region Vladimir Tungusov.

From July 1, 2017, the Administration of the President will monitor all appeals from citizens that will be received monthly from the regions. According to preliminary data, appeals and measures taken will be analyzed and published on the Internet.

According to Tungusov, in 2016, the government of the region and the administration of the governor received 25.5 thousand applications. The main topics are utilities, housing, construction, social security and health.

"More than 7,5 thousand appeals came to us from the Administration of the President and the Government of the country. Residents of the region sent them directly, "said Tungusov.

Governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev clearly instructed the Cabinet to take over the work to increase the openness of power and public awareness. Officials must report to people on the basis of solving the problems indicated in appeals.
