The Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Justice signed an order allowing the use of international clinical protocols based on evidence-based medicine. This was reported by acting Minister of Health Ulyana Suprun.

"This order - relieves the doctor of the need to treat obsolete standards. Accordingly, the patient who receives really high-quality medical assistance wins, "stressed Ulyana Suprun, adding that the healthcare system starts to focus on the patient's needs, rather than adapting to the capacity of medical institutions.

What the European protocols give to doctors and patients, the head doctor of the Israeli oncology hospital LISOD Alla Vinnytska explained at a press conference.

"The first place in the incidence of cancer worldwide is breast cancer. - said Alla Vinnytsia. - According to the Ukrainian protocols of treatment, doctors do a radical operation, completely removing the mammary gland and lymph nodes. Often such an operation leads to disability and a decrease in the patient's quality of life. European and international protocols have for a long time provided for organ-saving operations.

In addition, throughout the world it is believed that radiotherapy should not be interrupted for six weeks. Because one day of interruption leads to a loss of 2 percent of the patient's survival. And in Ukraine, the first phase of radiotherapy is mandatory, then a break for two weeks, followed by a second stage of irradiation. And to force Ukrainian radial therapists to change their practice was impossible before. I hope that now, in connection with the implementation of the European protocols of treatment, something will finally change for the better ".

Let's remind, the new command of Ministry of Health insists on transition of system of public health services to the international reports of treatment and diagnostics that all could check up, that these services are given qualitatively.
