"We are confident that we will be able to keep the situation under control. But the state of affairs is really complicated, "- said the first deputy chairman of the KSCA Gennady Plis on Tuesday, April 25.

According to the official, the court decision adopted on April 25 did not remove obstacles to the financial activities of the Kiev Metro, created by the arrest of his accounts.

"Regarding people who receive a salary at the enterprise: of course, this decision taken by the court today complicates any processes connected not only with the payment of salaries, but also in general with the functioning of the subway. But we will make every effort to ensure that the salary is paid, "- assured Plis.

He also expressed confidence that the current problem can be solved only by the National Security and Defense Council.

"And this decision would be the most correct and effective both for the city and for the country as a whole," summed up the deputy head of KSCA.

Recall, on April 25, the Supreme Economic Court partially granted the cassation appeal of KP "Kiev Metro", denying the company "Ukrroslizing" in satisfying the claims for recovery of 42 million hryvnia penalty. In the rest of the decision of previous instances, including the arrest of accounts of the utility, were left unchanged.

Earlier, the Kiev City Council announced the threat of stopping the work of the Moscow Metro because of the arrest of accounts of the KP "Kiev Metro". On March 16, the accounts of the utility were arrested in accordance with the decision of the Kyiv Economic Court of Appeal, which ordered the utility to pay OOO Ukrrosliasing almost UAH 2 billion under a contract from 2009 for the supply of 100 wagons.

The KSCA reported that Ukrrosleasing LLC is controlled by the Russian "Vnesheconombank".

In July 2009, Ukrrosleasing won a tender for the supply of 100 subway cars leasing to the Kiev Metro in 2009-2014.

The wagons were purchased for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The amount of the contract was about 1 billion 391 million UAH.

"Ukrroslizing" with an authorized capital of 52.56 million UAH was created in November 2008. 100% of the company owns Cyprus's Ukrrosleasing Cyprus Limited.
