The payment for roaming in the territory of the European Union will be canceled from June 15, 2017. Appropriate resolution was approved by representatives of 28 countries of the European Union.
From now on, for mobile phone calls, sending SMS messages and access to the Internet within the EU countries, an additional tariff will not be charged. The price for European roaming will not exceed the cost of services of a home mobile operator.
The law will apply to EU residents who travel to other EU countries on business or private trips.
After the entry into force of the law from June 15, its operation will also extend to Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.
