Ukrainian judo team with its triumphant performance at the European Championships in Warsaw beat the national record for the number of awards.

The Ukrainians won 4 medals and took the third place in the team event, having divided it with Georgia.

This is the best achievement for the Ukrainian team in the history of performances at the continental championships.

Before that, the best result for Ukraine at the European championships was 3 medals.

Recall, Daria Beloded (up to 48 kg) and George Zantaraya (up to 66 kg) sensationally won the "gold" awards. Svetlana Yaremka became a silver medalist (over 78 kg), and the men's team won the bronze in the team championship.
