During the talks, Lavrov and Zannier will discuss the work of the OSCE to help resolve the conflict in Donbas.

At the same time, the Russian side together with the Secretary General of the OSCE intends to consider possible measures to "increase the effectiveness" of the special OSCE monitoring mission in Ukraine within the framework of the current mandate.

Also within the framework of Zannier's visit to the Russian Federation, the OSCE Secretary General is scheduled to meet with the leadership of the organization of the Collective Security Treaty.

In addition, Lamberto Zannier will take part in the VI Moscow Conference on International Security at the invitation of the Russian Ministry of Defense and in the meeting of the Valdai Club.
