There were new considerations on which one should give preference to tomato juice.

According to research by Australian scientists, tomato juice helps cope with the dangerous complications of type 2 diabetes mellitus. This kind of juice prevents clotting of platelets and prevents thrombosis, which leads to strokes, heart attacks and deep vein thrombosis. Deep vein thrombosis of the lower extremities particularly affects the travelers (moving in a sitting position) and is often the cause of their death.

Scientists assigned 250 milliliters (about 1 cup) of tomato juice daily to 20 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Three weeks after the start of the study, there was a significant reduction in blood clotting and, consequently, a predisposition to thrombosis.

Healing properties of tomatoes are associated with the component P3, which is rich in a jelly-like substance near the seeds. The medicinal substance P3 contains fresh tomatoes, as well as tomato sauce. Given these data, about 17 million Americans with diabetes mellitus, avid travelers and smokers are all chances to become ardent "tomatolyubami". In addition, tomato sauce is much more delicious than aspirin and other antithrombotic drugs.
