Regular consumption of milk reduces the risk of stomach cancer, say Japanese researchers from the University of Nagoya.

The study involved 500 people, whose nutrition was observed by scientists. This allowed specialists to establish that only 180 - 220 milliliters of milk (about a glass) per day reduce the risk of developing bowel cancer by 10 - 12%.

For more accurate conclusions, scientists need to conduct large-scale research in different countries of the world for a long time. However, it is known that milk is rich in calcium, which, in turn, reduces the risk of cancer of the large intestine, experts say.

Milk contains more than two hundred components. The most important of them are water, easily digestible proteins, fats, carbohydrates, mineral salts, vitamins and other substances necessary to ensure normal growth and vital activity of the human body of any age, experts added..
