Defender Manchester United Marcos Rojo was forced to leave the field in the return leg of the 1/4 finals of the Europa League against Anderlecht.

The Argentinean suffered a left knee injury in the fight with Frank Achimping in the middle of the first half and was carried off the field on a stretcher. In his place came Dayley Blind.

This is a serious blow to United, as Chris Smalling and Field Jones are also out of the game, and the only healthy central defenders are Eric Bayi and Blind, for whom this is not the main position.

Details and timing of restoration of Rojo will be known after the end of the meeting.
