Alexander Grigorovich, acting chairman of the State Food-Grain Corporation of Ukraine, leaves his post. This was told by a source in the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, writes LIGA. Net.
According to the interlocutor, Grigorovich will go on vacation on April 21 and will not return to work at the GPZKU.
Recall, the state corporation for the second year remains without a permanent leader.
GPZKU is a vertically integrated company that conducts the whole cycle of work with grain and products of their processing: from production to export. The GKPMU consists of 55 branches, their total working capacity is 3.75 million tons of agricultural crops, including the total capacity for transshipment of Odessa and Nikolayev ports for export - about 2.5 million tons of grain cargo per year.
Concerning the success of the company's activities, the information that is available is quite contradictory. According to one data, for the last three years the company is unprofitable. The amount of losses: 2014 - 3,536 billion UAH, 2015 - 3,029 billion UAH, 2016 - about 600 million UAH. On the other hand, GAZP gross profit for 2016 increased by almost 145 million UAH and amounted to more than 2.2 billion UAH.
Recall that the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution according to which the GKPKU is excluded from the list of objects of state property subject to privatization in 2016-2017.
Earlier, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office reported suspicion to four individuals involved in damaging OJSC "State Food Grain Corporation of Ukraine" in the amount of more than $ 60 million (over 1.6 billion UAH).
