Due to worsening weather conditions in Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporozhye and a number of other regions, the chairmen of the regional state administrations must take personal control of the situation and coordinate the work of all necessary services on the ground to quickly overcome the effects of bad weather. This was emphasized by the Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing of Ukraine Gennady Zubko during the meeting of the operational headquarters of the State Emergency Management Service regarding the worsening of weather conditions in Ukraine, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.

"To date, 199 settlements have been de-energized, yesterday this figure reached 505. The work of all services on the ground is fully organized, and electricity supply has already been restored in more than 300 localities. There are regional headquarters for dealing with the aftermath of emergency situations in the Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Kharkiv, Zaporozhye regions, which ensure the coordination of all services, "said Gennady Zubko.

The vice-premier noted that the task of all involved departments and services is to organize stable life-support of settlements, especially social facilities - schools, kindergartens, hospitals.

"There is a danger of moving the cyclone to the Carpathian region, the Odessa and Mykolayiv regions, on April 21 - to Bukovina, Khmelnitchin, Vinnichina, Kirovograd. Providing around-the-clock monitoring of the possible impact of unfavorable weather conditions on the functioning of potentially hazardous energy facilities, communications, medical institutions, transport infrastructure and life support systems.

Limiting the movement of freight transport, if necessary, in the southern, eastern and western regions of Ukraine, where there are difficult weather conditions.

Involvement of snow-clearing high-pass technology and engineering for the organization of traffic of vehicles, duty on the mountain passes.

Providing 100% power connection in settlements;.

Informing people through the media about worsening weather conditions next weekend.
