Such modernization in the framework of the pension reform will begin on October 1. This was announced on Thursday, April 20, by Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavel Rozenko.

He also recalled that 4.5 million Ukrainians who have a pension of 1.5 thousand hryvnia to four thousand hryvnia, no increase since 2012 did not have. Thanks to an increase in the minimum wage to 3200 hryvnia, the Pension Fund received more income and now the government has a positive effect.

The pension fund to date has received about five billion more than it was planned. That is, if this goes on, these 11 billion hryvnia as of October will be without any additional injections from the state budget, "explained Rosenko, adding that the cancellation of the taxation of pensions will take place for 500,000 pensioners.

For the budget, this amount from October to the end of the year will be 600-700 million hryvnia, - assured the Deputy Prime Minister. Recall, as reported URA-Inform, Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman said that the increase in pensions, which is scheduled for October 1, 2017, will not affect the macroeconomic indicators of Ukraine.
