This was told the head of the NBU in an interview with the Financial Times. According to her, one big oligarch personally threatened her with physical violence simply in her office.

At the same time, she noted that these are not permanent persecutions, but there are tons of fake information, manipulation and slander.

She also recalled that during her time as head of the National Bank in Ukraine 87 banks were closed.

Oligarchic banks collect money from all possible resources, mainly from private deposits of individuals, and invest this money in their business. They believe that they are among the richest people in the country and believe that the money belongs to them, "explained Gontareva.
