The hryvnia exchange rate on the interbank foreign exchange market on Thursday strengthened to UAH 26.87 / dollar from UAH 26.96 / dollar to the end of trading on the previous business day.

As the dealers of commercial banks reported, the quotes of the hryvnia to the end of trading amounted to 26.85-26.89 UAH / USD The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on this day did not conduct the auction.

According to the NBU, the weighted average rate of the hryvnia on the interbank foreign exchange market on this day has strengthened to 26.9086 UAH / dollar from 26.9597 UAH / USD on the previous working day.

The trade turnover amounted to 223.18 million dollars, whereas on the previous working day - 315.80 million dollars.

Recall that on March 4, the head of the IMF mission in Ukraine Ron van Rooden said that the IMF agreed with Ukraine on the allocation of a new tranche of $ 1 billion.

Meeting of the Board of Directors of the International Monetary Fund on the revision of the program of cooperation with Ukraine is scheduled for March 20.
