The lights on the Eiffel Tower have been extinguished in memory of the victims of the terrorist attack in London

This was reported by the Mayor of Paris Anna Hidalgo in his microblog on Twitter.

According to her, the lights were extinguished on the main attractions of Paris in solidarity with Britain, where the day before the terrorist attack was committed.

In addition, she expressed her condolences to the mayor of London, Sadik Khan and residents of the city. Also Hidalgo stressed that the capitals of France and England have close friendly ties, share the love of "freedom and democracy".



Note that because of the terrorist attack in London, killed five people, 40 more were injured. In turn, policemen had to shoot the attacker. The session of the House of Commons was suspended, members of parliament in the hall were invited to stay inside.
