In Pakistan, an attack of militants on police academy killed 59 people

The number of victims of the attack groups of armed men on a police academy in the city of Quetta in western Pakistan continues to grow - the local authorities have confirmed the deaths of 59 people.

Rescuers continued to impose new body out of the hostel building a few hours after the security services and the military ended an operation to release the school from militants. In Quetta hospital received more than a hundred wounded, some of them in serious condition. In total, the hostel could be up to 500 students.

The school was attacked on October 24: a group of armed men on the run shooting from rifles, just burst into the territory of a training center, and then in the dorm building. Initially it was reported that the attackers were five or six. As it became known later, the three of them had to imagine bombs shahid belts.

Soon, the college a large force of special forces and regular army were drawn, but shootings and explosions continued for more than two hours.



The two suicide bombers managed to blow himself up in a hostel. The third gunman was shot and killed with explosives stormed the secret service, failing to bring into effect the bomb.

So far, none of the militant groups in Pakistan has claimed responsibility for the attack.
